Who we are
We are parents, caregivers, educators, and organizers working alongside Hands Off NYC to stand up for our neighbors and each other against federal escalation in our city. No child should have to worry about their parents being kidnapped by ICE. No child should have to walk by armed agents to get to school. Together we say: no troops in NYC and ICE out of NYC. We are stronger when we’re organized and when we act collectively.

10/17 @ 11am - No Kings GOTV Family Edition
Join Climate Families NYC & Hands Off NYC Families for a family friendly No Kings day of action event with letters to voters, food, art and music!
Kids of all ages and their grown ups are welcome. We'll have toys and art for the littles, and letter writing for big kids + adults, plus of course food. Runs from 11am to 1pm at Church of the Ascension in the West Village
10/19 @ 5pm - Rally to Urge NYC Schools to Protect Immigrant Students & Families from ICE!
In the wake of the ICE shooting of a father in Marble Hill, Community Education Council for District 30, elected officials, public school families, and community members will hold a rally and press conference on October 19 to protest the continued escalation of ICE violence in our neighborhoods, including the use of District 30 public school property by ICE for staging raids.

Community Playdates
At community playdates, we distribute resources, take action together and families forge the connections needed to support our immigrant neighbors and strengthen our community in the face of threats.
We’ll announce dates and locations here, or sign up to our email list to stay informed.
Anybody can host a playdate - if you’ve ever organized a kids’ party or playdate you already know how! When you’ve decided when and where your playdate will be let us know about it so we can list it in our communications!
